Platt College NEW Students:

In keeping with the requirements set forth by both Platt College, as well as its affiliated clinical sites, we have partnered with 5280 Drug Testing to fulfill your drug testing requirements.

To schedule an appointment, please click the link at the bottom of the page:

  • Failure to complete the drug screen by the due date may impact your ability to start classes at Platt College.
  • On your test day, it is important that you are prepared properly. Do not drink more than 40 oz of fluid in the three hours prior to your test (no more than 20 oz in the hour prior).  Drinking too much fluid could result in a “Dilute”. Dilute specimens are NOT acceptable by Platt College or any clinical sites. Dilute specimens will result in an immediate retest at your own expense.
  • If you are currently taking any prescription or OTC medication that could affect your drug screen, you do not need to inform the collection site.  If your specimen screens positive, you will be contacted by our Medical Review Officer, who will confirm your prescriptions. Once the MRO contacts you, you have 48 hours to respond. Failure to do so will result in a POSITIVE result and will be unacceptable to Platt College and any clinical site.
  • As a NEW STUDENT APPLICANT, you are responsible for the cost of your drug screen. Payment must be made at the time of your appointment. If booking online, you will be directed to payment link. If payment is not received, results will be not be released to Platt College which could delay starting classes. If you are unable to complete this requirement, you MUST contact Barb Jones at 303-369-5151 or [email protected].
