Level 1 & 2 DUI alcohol education and Level 2 DUI therapy/ counseling programs, as required by statute, are defined by the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) of the Colorado Department of Human Services.
Level 1 consists of 12 hours of alcohol and drug education over a minimum of 3 sessions, unless an alcohol evaluator says more is required. We provide Level 1 DUI Classes in group settings over 6 sessions. Each session is 2 hours.
Completion of a DUI Level 1 alcohol and drug education program is required when a MINOR driver has had their license/ privilege revoked for one year for their first DUI, DWAI of .02 + BAC conviction, or other alcohol related violation that was received while under the age of 21. A MINOR driver may be required to complete DUI Level 2 education and treatment depending on the alcohol and drug evaluator’s recommendation.
Level 2 DUI classes consist of an alcohol and drug education AND therapy/ counseling program, as defined by OBH, and are identified in the chart as TRACKS A, B, C and D. We offer DUI Level 2 education & treatment in group settings. Each session is 2 hours.
